{"id":940,"date":"2009-05-31T21:12:47","date_gmt":"2009-06-01T04:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.technicalley.com\/?p=940"},"modified":"2009-05-31T21:12:47","modified_gmt":"2009-06-01T04:12:47","slug":"predictably-more-irrational","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technicalley.com\/central\/blog\/2009\/05\/31\/predictably-more-irrational\/","title":{"rendered":"Predictably More Irrational?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just read a post in Dan Ariely&#8217;s blog about the new expanded version of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.technicalley.com\/book-review-predictably-irrational-by-dan-ariely\/\" target=\"_self\">Predictably Irrational<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ariely writes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Predictably Irrational was first published in February 2008, and given the relative ease of modifying books these days, I decided to add some of my reflections on the stock market crisis \u2014 and create an expanded edition of Predictably Irrational.\u00a0 Once I decided to add some material, I also realized that I have learned some new things in the last two years about some of the original chapters in Predictably Irrational, so I added some material about these topics as well.<\/p>\n<p>The expanded edition will come out on May 19th, with a somewhat different cover (see below), more material, and also with a more aggressive stand against rational economics.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I look forward to reading or listening to the new book, hopefully sometime soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just read a post in Dan Ariely&#8217;s blog about the new expanded version of Predictably Irrational.
