One of the most appealing features of Drupal is the content-type called “book.” If you are planning to develop a book online over time, or using a bunch of existing blog/forum posts, or articles that you have already posted, you can create a new “book” on Drupal and use it to organize all that.
I just created a book called “Web Publishing” on my new portal. At this point, it is basically a collection of all my posts on this topic from my blog. I can keep working on this “book” over time, and adding new stuff, but this feature lets me get started with whatever I have and build things over time.
